Fiiiiiinally finished this thing. Took forever to finish, had to do a couple touch ups after I initially wet-sanded it. Just finished polishing it and it turned out pretty darn good. It has about as perfectly flat a finish as I could get. Basically sanded in-between jut about every layer of paint except for the colors.
You can even make out my wallpaper in the reflection :D.
I also added the silver to the sheath by popular demand.

Woopsies, forgot about the cross pieces >.>, gotta attach those now.

how did you do to obtain this awesome shiny metallic grey for the sheath?

The silver rim on the sheath is an enamel metallic platinum, the same thing I used on the sword, and the body is black with a semi-gloss lacquer over it.

Thanks!. I was really happy with how well the felt protected the finish, so if you put alot of work into the finishing of the weapon
, lining the sheath is a must.

Thanks! I'm hoping my new paint turns out as good as I've seen. If so I'll have a much more realistic metal finish.

... I think I will watch you just to see what you get.
That, and because you're really god at swords.
